Is this black mold? If so is this DIY or professional

I have these spots on the top of my garage. It’s relatively small, you can use the screw near the top right as reference for the size of these. I’m in Fort Worth, and my garage is kept pretty dry but concerned it could be black mold.

If it is, is this something I can fix on my own? And if it isn’t, then what do you think the cause is?
