I’m all ready to start my first cycle but I have two options. I can either buy my meds via self pay for $3100 or try and run it through my insurance to see how much they will cover, which will delay my cycle by two weeks. I’m not sure what they will cover, if any. What would you do?
I have zero family in the country, no friends, and a very stressful job. Is this doable completely on my own? Having second thoughts and getting cold feet. Any personal experience would help, including who you used to take you home on retrieval day etc. Imagining all sorts of nightmare scenarios like ovarian torsion or getting very sick with no one to help.
What constitutes a lazy ovary? At my screening ultrasound I had 5 follicles on the left side and 17 on the right. AMH pending.
