I am completing an FD-258 fingerprint card in order to request an FBI Identity History Summary Check for a spousal TIE.

The fingerprint card instructions indicate that both the Originating Agency Identifier (ORI) and the “Reason Fingerprinted” fields are required. However, I have not been able to determine what ORI and reason code/text should be used for a direct FBI CJIS Identity History Summary request mailed to Clarksburg, WV from abroad.

Does anybody know what should be entered in these fields for this type of request?

Hey all,
I am the husband of a Spanish citizen and applied for tarjeta de familia under EX 19. The day after submission I received a request for an apostilled background check from my home country, to which my lawyer sent the oficina de extranjería a letter stating that is not a requirement in this application path. Over two months passed with no other communications and the status always being en tramite, the status changed to resuelto no favorable today. I’m trying to get in contact with the oficina and my lawyer to find out the reason for the rejection but I feel so hopeless and dejected. Am I cooked?
