Hi everyone, I am 23F from a country in Southeast Asia and now pursuing Master’s degree in Italy. Studying abroad was my dream since I was young. I would boast to everyone around me that I will study abroad some days. Now, I am here in Italy. During my first 11 days here, my mother came with me to help me settle down into my room and also did a little traveling to different cities as well. But when my mother went back to my country, everything flipped. I am not used to being alone AT ALL. I cry everyday, I miss my family, my dogs, my friends…I miss the life back in my home country. I’ve just been here a little over two weeks but I don’t know if I can get over my homesickness. It’s hard when you’re alone half way across the world in a country where you don’t know anything. I know my family is proud of me because I am here on a scholarship but the thing is that I am very, very homesick. I miss my food, i miss everything. It may get better soon but I am trying so hard to cope with everything here. The thing that I am most looking forward to right now is not starting classes but rather going home for the winter break instead. Idk if anyone is in the same shoes as me, but I would really appreciate if you can give me some tips to not make me miss home so much. I especially miss my dogs, they were my comfort zone and now not seeing them for such long time makes me feel unease😔

Hi everyone, I am an international student who wants to apply for the EDISU Scholarship from the University of Pavia. Since my country is one of the poorest countries that is specified by the Italian government, the document that they need to assess my financial status is a document from the consulate or embassy stating that my family is not from a high-income family. Is there anyone that got their documents from their embassy? If you did, please help me with this process as well.

PS. I emailed the embassy but they don’t reply😭😭😭
