I'm planning to buy a sound system. I was thinking of the samsung 990f or sony quads but I'm open to any suggestions with similar layouts. The white crosses Mark the placement of the rear speakers (I have sockets left out there).

Anybody having similar layout for their living?

What would be the suggestion and what is the experience with it?

I don't want to place them lower as it would probably be a problem next to the stairs.
