{Vanessa manages to get just a couple hours of sleep in between being woken up by every little thing. She glances over the man who thinks he "saved" her, seeing him still fast asleep and lays back down.

The guilt inside her is twisting in her gut. He had lost his son, an innocent little kid. And for what? Why did they even attack the hospital? Because that's the one she just happened to be at? She'd had no idea they were going after the kids or why. But it's bearing on her like all his other crimes.

She desperately wants to tell this guy everything. Who she really is, a ticking timebomb that he's riding around with to who knows what that will soon be in danger.

But everytime she even starts to think about it, that pain from within starts back up feeling like her veins are burning. And doesn’t subside until she gives up on it.

So all she can do is wait and see what happens and what they have planned.}

{Vanessa had finally had enough with being in the hospital. It had been too much in that despairing place. So she promptly just left. Literally sneaking out the window. The thing is she has no idea where she even is.

She'd overhead that they moved all of them out of state, into a location kept from the public and victims themselves. Some kind of precaution on the off chance it had been a targeted attack. If the ones behind it came after the survivors they had no idea where they to find them.

Funny, she's pretty sure they know EXACTLY where they are so waste of security measures.

Now she cant exactly be wandering around in hospital clothes so she skillfully "breaks" (without actually breaking) into various places and snags different things at each one: clothes, shoes, food.  Luckily none of the places had security systems or cameras. And no one was home. With her skills no one noticed anyone had even been there or that anything was missing.

The first thing she stole was a hat. Because no one needed to see "Lisa", who was now so widely recognized as a trauma survivor, out and about. And try as she might she couldn't change her appearance (despite what that thing told her) and didn't have enough time to cut and dye her hair. Not until she could at least get further away.

That strange surging pain happens every so often, sometimes stopping her in her tracks. At times debilitating enough to stop her for a few minutes until it subsides. No meds (even taken from the hospital) has any effect on it. She's lost, still hurt, and has no clue what to even do.}

Vanessa: [at one point when the pain gets too strong just finally yells in pain and frustration] "What am I supposed to do now?!"

{Eventually she just drops down against a tree on the side of the road out of exhaustion.}

{After a few days of recovery, Lisa/Vanessa has healed enough to at least start to get up and move around. She's had enough of the visitors with sympathy. How sad that her "parents" happened to be in the hospital to visit only to die a horrible death like so many others?

If only that part were true and he stayed dead.

As she makes her way around the hospital she hears snippets of conversation and news reports. They are chalking it up to an attack involving wild animals. Potentially rabid. How convenient that all of the security cams were out along with the power and that's the only plausible explanation for all the strange wounds and damage. And as for her? Well she probably just got hurt by debris. Likely fell on something in the darkness. None of the few survivors seemed to have noticed her father or the absolute monster that nothing rational could explain. How sad for the poor girl to get caught up in two unrelated tragedies. All the headlines comparing to the last unsolved mystery of missing children. Hearing all their names again growing more guilt tearing deep within her.

She slips into the empty bathroom and stares into the mirror at the face of a girl who no longer exists; life she unwillingly stole. She adjusts her clothes, lifting up to look at the massive scars lining her body. Just like she had before.

What now? Where does she go from here?}

{Vanessa, still as the innocent Lisa Parker, lays in another hospital bed; turned on her side away from the open door. She'd already heard the chatter: the sheer amount of lives lost, how lucky she was to survive two brutal attacks and that none of her injuries were anywhere vital.

And the kids. How so many kids just vanished in thin air with no trace. Eerily reminiscent of that strange mystery back in the 80s when all those kids were taken. Just hearing snippets of it was enough ti make her vomit. If she'd only spoken up louder then, done more to stop him. Dying at a young age would have been worth preventing at the bodies that came after Charlotte.

She knows she needs to drop her guise and tell someone the truth no matter how out there it sounds. She could find a way to prove it. Maybe insist she's just trapped as a spirit haunting this poor woman. No she doesn't know exactly where they are but maybe she could share enough that-

She feels that sharp buzzing run through her again, stronger this time and leans over the side throwing up again. She thinks (and doctors said) it was just pain from her new wounds. Unaware that it's the agony eating through more of her remnant. Nor does she realize that anytime she thinks about regret or deflection that it intensifies more.

She lays back down waiting for it to subside staring up at the blurry spinning lights above her. No, if she even makes an indication that something's amiss he's already proven just a snippet of what will happen if she fails. The most agonizing pain she's even felt that couldn't be ignored. And that was just a few seconds of it. There's no point in running, they have spies everywhere and can appear anywhere. She wouldn't even have a chance to say anything. And he wouldn't just end her, he'd make her feel every agonizing moment like she was being ripped apart, piece by piece.

Before she would have sacrificed herself immediately, through any risk. Reject being their puppet. But now, she's too terrified to even consider it.}

Vanessa: "Daddy, I'm sorry..."

[OOC: Nessa quickly got rid of any thoughts of straying REAL fast]

{He grins over at his partner/mentor. God, he'd missed this. All of it. The actual crimes, the bonding. After he'd lost him in his own world and first fallen in the cursed ball pit, he'd been through many universes. Some where the killer had been caught early on and never achieved anything else. Some where his siblings ended the man and even one he himself barely escaped before they ended him.

But finally he'd found the perfect one. A family man strangely enough. But still a killer through and through. And not just kids. Any and (almost) everyone were fair game. He couldn't believe his luck. The older man had immediately believed his story and welcomed him with open arms. Accepting he was Michael Afton, a son he had never known but would have loved and supported if he had. Just as he did his other three children. (His "replacements").

Unfortunately he wasn't the only one here to feel that long sought affection. A burning anger and jealousy that it took everything to suppress, lest he earn the dangerous man's ire.

He glances back at the locked door that the closed ball pit sits behind, adjusts his Fox mask and continues cleaning up.}

{Vanessa, still in the guise as Lisa, sits quietly in the hospital bed. Ever since the "attack" she'd been kept in there "recovering." True to that demoness's word no one questioned anything and really did believe she was the poor woman she knew had been snatched. All it took was convincing the doctors the trauma led to temporary amnesia to explain why she didn't remember any of the girl's visitors, especially family.

It had also gotten her thinking, second guessing. She'd been trapped in the facility but now she could possibly do what she wanted. Was it worth trying to throw aside what they wanted her to do? If she insisted that she really was Vanessa Afton it would probably get her locked in mental institution but at least she would have done something.

A large dark form starts growing near the window breaking her from her thoughts. The glowing eyes send a faint surge of pain through her as it focuses on her.}

Eleanor: [speaking through it]] "Sorry, Princess but it seems you just aren't enough of an attraction yet. Let's change that."

Doctor: [comes in reading a chart] "Okay, Ms. Parker, it seems-" [freezes seeing the giant beast resembling a minotaur towering over her] "What the hell is that!" [barely manages to scream before the beast grabs her making quick work of her before turning back to Lisa]

{\More agony pours from the vents and loud roars and snarls are heard all over the hospital followed by blood chilling screams and cries. The minotaur drops to all fours with thick purple smoke coming from it's nostrils.*}

Eleanor: [speaking through it] "Now let's put on a show that they can't ignore."

{It swipes it's claws barely missing as she ducks then slashes her stomach with other claws. She rips herself free from the monitors and IVs and races out of the room as it charges at her. All throughout the emergency wing lay more bodies and numerous creatures straight out of a nightmare. And more are starting to form all over other areas of the hospital. She screams and runs as more pursue her}

[OOC: think of it as like the demodogs hospital scene in Stranger Things 5 lol but bigger and much more deadly with some after her and others attacking, ending some and dragging off others for remnant]

{The air shifts around Vanessa and she tightens her grip still brandishing the torch as a weapon. Up ahead of her, he stands. No illusion disks, no tricks or hallucinations. Just the rotting costume corpse. Liz got the pretty illusions and fancy lies. But she and Michael were always given the harsh reality with no secrets. Just like now.

As he stands there quietly staring at her she knows what he wants. Same as he always has. The one thing she always refuses to give. So she just stares back, both waiting for the other to make a move as her defiance and anger still hold her up, giving her strength.

Every inch of her just wants to scream and attack him. What else has she got to lose anymore? Do whatever it takes to end him and finally get the justice and revenge she's sought so long. She can easily just hit him with the torch and watch him burn. Finally rid of a nightmare. She holds it out defensively in front of her.

Because everything that has ever happened, that he either directly subjected her to, or all that she went through at the hands of Paul, Malhare, and Vanny was all because of him. With no remorse. Because of course he never has any.

She doesn't want to give in. She would rather just everything just end before ever giving in, but she knows (and he knows)she has no choice. She's lost with no way out and being trapped here alone and tormented by whatever still remains will only drive her more insane. And that courage is quickly fading.

After everything, in the end she doesn't want to be alone or hurt anymore and gives in. She finds herself doing what she should have originally done. Then all of this would have been prevented and no one caught in it. Caused by her acting out; her defiance. Paul had been right; if she'd stayed in line and obeyed she never would have been dropped in his lap to deal with, leading to everything. It would have been Michael as planned, and he wouldn't have let it get this far.

With no other option she extinguishes her torch, setting it on the ground in front of her, and tossing the bag, reluctantly drops to her knees trying to hold back her tears looking down in defeat and submission. And he nods in approval.}

Springtrap: "Well done." [steps forward, setting one hand on her shoulder and lifting her chin up gently to face him]"Welcome home, daughter. Back where you belong. Where you've always belonged]

[OOC: Aaannnndd with that Vanessa's part in this arc ends when it somewhat began. Afterall her defiance and resistance did lead to all this when she decided to run 😅 Anyways, give all the chars a short break (most get a monent of peace), do some world building to prepare for our next time skip and get ready for the next wild arc! 😎]

{Vanessa has been having realizations during her search for a way out. It started when she finally found what she thought was the exit but was completely blocked off making her have to turn around for another try. The more she walks in the dark silence, the more they start to eat at her.

Once she realized what all she did under Malhare's corruption, she felt so sick and nauseous with guilt. But they all had to have to understand it wasn't her choice, right? And still take her back. Especially Abby and Mike. Except now that she thinks about it, something was different about him. Even before the time skip, he seemed strange but when he came back he didn't seem in a rush to help her even when she was trying to escape Vanny and her assistant. So maybe not someone to trust anymore. She hadn't been able to reach Michael for years while begging for his help (unaware that he was trying to find her when Vanny was in control), so he'd abandoned her. Liz of course probably sided with their father, once she found out he was still here. And especially after the mean false things she told her sister, that she'd never mean in a million years, she couldn't blame her. Liz likely didn't realize she was under influence and thought she meant every word. She was so broken and definitely wouldn't want anything to do with her anymore.

So what does she even have now?

And it's very likely that no one else even knew she was down there. The only ones who even saw her were her father and Clyde. Which may or may not have even survived.  Which meant no one was coming for her. Leaving her trapped for who knows how long she'll survive anymore. And even if she does someone make it out? Where would she even go?

She leans back against the wall forced to accept that she has no one anymore to trust or support her.

She's utterly completely all alone....}

[OOC: 1/2 parts of Vanessa's ending in this arc. Before a short break to gear up for the next]

{Vanessa walks through the facility and although she doesn't open any of the doors she can feel the evil darkness and suffering throughout the building. It's all there, weak but slowly regrowing.

She ends up in a type of security office, which shows cameras still working and several desks full of screens. She looks at the one closest to her (to afraid to look at the ones showing inside rooms.) There's barely any signs of life on the screens, just a few sparse dark bodies slowly crawling or dragging down halls. Hopefully nowhere near her. It seems someone had already done some damage to most of the facility as walls in several of the screens seem to be melted and damaged. And many screens completely blank with no connection found. Hopefully her sense of direction is still strong and still a survivalist.

She grabs a set of matches and lighter, making a lit torch and lights a few of them and throws into the office before pulling the door shut behind her. She keeps throwing more lit matches in various parts of the facility after she passes them, including the vents. And the dark weak creatures that seem barely able to more.

Someone started the job, she may as well finish, whether she makes it out or not or what gets in her way. She hears a bang followed by a clang down one of the dark halls in the direction she's headed. She holds the lit torch in front of her and continues on, hopefully ready to face whatever still remains in her path even as the noises get louder and closer.}

{Deep within the facility, Vanessa finally wakes after days(?) spent in her nightmare scape facing everything she'd tried to ignore and forget. It's forceful and painful and the first thing she does is leap up on all fours to vomit continuously. Once done she quickly scrambles away from it leaning back against another wall.

She realizes two things: 1) she's still bleeding heavily and 2) completely alone with no sign of the creature that had attacked her. The doors are even open. With a pained groan she gets up, leaving the room. She refuses to open any of the doors she passes as they make her feel like her skin is crawling and can't be anything good. She's already got a decent idea of what her father has accomplished down here and isn't ready to face it. Finally she reaches a room that doesn't bother her and walks in finding a medical bay. Quickly she finds the first aid kit and everything thing she knows she'll need. One thing the Afton family has always been good at it is fixing themselves and each other up. After a long deep shower she immediately cleans up and sutures all her wounds, still unsure how she's alive or even still exists with Vanny currently in her actual body.

Unfortunately that just leaves her more alone with her thoughts. Her mother was gone never to even be remembered; her younger siblings, ripped away from her. And all she had had (before the whole Malhare thing) was a handful of others, who try as they might could never truly understand the Afton curse. Who knows if she even had that anymore. Mike had already seemed off and after what she did under Malhare there was no coming back from that.

There was only one who could possibly understand, that would have helped her. But did he even have her back anymore.

She breaks down crying desperately.*}

Vanessa: "Michael, I can't do this on my own anymore."

{*Reluctantly she finishes up until she's at least tolerable with her bandaging and semi-manageable pain before stuffing a to-go first aid kit and a few still edible snacks in a bag and heading down the hall, dreading what she's gonna find.*}

{Still deep in her nightmare dreamscape, Vanessa continues running aimlessly slipping through twisted scenes and memories. She doesn't know why she's running or even where she's going. But everything she's tried to repress have all come out in full fold.

Her siblings deaths, her father's spiral into a mad man and their family's demise into darkness. Every corpse she was exposed to, every blood stain she had to face. All under the rule of Whatever he's been turned into now shouldn't be that surprising to her. She and Michael both should have expected it. The signs have always been there after all.

What most don't know is that William Afton's original experiments were his own kids: dead and alive. Evan was the one to start his botched idea on bringing back to life and discovered remnant in the process, Elizabeth (although an unintended accident) to introduce how possession and remnant worked (and how to manipulate it). And long before 5 kids were taken, he tested his theories on his last two remaining children before he dared to use on himself. Michael first, to see if he survived, followed a year later by Vanessa. Painful injections of remnant and watching the effects. Resulting in months of agonizing pain and illness. Before that Michael was also subjected to horrendous nightmares caused by parlor tricks and illusions, introducing the concept of agony, a more powerful substance created from intense suffering and agony of others.

The 5 children taken solidied his research as their spirits were fully reanimated within the furry suits that contained them, something he'd discovered more into once he found out about Charlie possessing the marionette. He also soon learned how easily he could control and manipulate them through agony. Before he could continue further (or at least Vanessa and Michael thought so) he was ended by his victims.

But it seems he had still continued, just deep below where no one had ever ventured and returned alive. While she had been dealing with Vanny, Malhare, and everything they subjected her to, HE had been creating his own hell deep below. Everything in this facility had likely been from his work. A place oozing in agony so thick it was like a chokehold. Did anyone else feel the oppression like that?

As the realization finally hits her she drops to her knees feeling sick like the first time she saw death at his hands and vomits.}

{In her dream, Vanessa trips and falls forward, landing in a pair of arms that catch and hold her gently. Arms that she recognizes. Michael. The one and only one who understands, fully in her corner. He's probably the only one she can depend on now. The only one she's ever fully trusted. She relaxes, laying her head against his chest, finally feeling safe as he wraps his arms around her. His skin is suddenly colder than ever and his grip becomes firmer and she feels the need to run.}

Dream Michael: "Oh, Nessa..."

{Her skin prickles against him and she slowly pulls away and he lets her. But his head hangs down and suddenly everything seems wrong.}

Vanessa: "Michael?"

{But she suddenly feels smaller, while he seems bigger. She looks down at her hands and instantly realizes it. She's 15 again. But Michael didn't change. Or at least not his age}

DM: [laughs shaking his head and it sounds all wrong] "What exactly are you doing?"

{This isn't the brother who's always had her back, working in tandem to stop everything their father and his company had an involvement in. While Liz always sought admiration and approval from their father, ignoring the darkness from him, the older siblings were always on the same wavelength. Oftentimes they were clinging to each other for survival.

*When he finally looks at her all she sees is a dark coldness that terrifies her. And his voice, although his own, sounds twisted. "Was that really your grand plan? Just run away like always? When are you going to stop running and finally accept it? Who you are."

{She pulls away to run again, but he grabs her wrists yanking her back ignoring her struggling}

Vanessa: "Michael, let go!"

Michael: "What does it take to make you realize? You have nowhere to go, Vanessa. Any ally you think you've found....well you know how they all end up once they get involved with you. Stop being such a child and grow up. You know it always ends the same. Right back where you started. Accept it, Vanessa. This is who you are. Where you belong. It's so much easier if you do."

{His grip on her arms turn harsh, digging into her skin, holding her in place with a vice-like grip he's never had before. When she tries to pull away, she starts to hear whispers coming from the dark tiara, floating into her mind. A mix of laughter and voices. Her father, Vanny, Paul, Bradford, Malhare. All with the venomous drip in her brother's tone.}

Vanessa: [tries to pull away but finds herself frozen] "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" [finally manages to kick his leg and break free, throwing the tiara at him and running and the whispered voices still continue around her]

Michael: [laughter and voice sounds like a mix of her entire family] "Run, little bunny. See how far you get this time. You know what happens when you keep doing that."

[OOC: I know Michael's role is u/Lostonesweep1ng but this is dream character and not actually controlling anyone. 😅]

25 year old Michael Alt seems pretty normal. One of the best most reliable Freddys employees. Always on time and does the job well and very skilled and knowledgeable.

Friendly and quite good at garnering positive attention. And very attentive to William, Laura and their 3 kids. Almost like a supportive big brother to 16 year old Vanessa and caring babysitter for Evan and Liz.

But deep inside he hides a dark secret.

You see Michael Alt is actually Michael Afton, from another AU. One where he isn't the aloof haunted character everyone's used to. Instead he followed too deeply in his father's steps (despite the abuse and lack of attention he endured) as the sole surviving offspring at his side until the very day the Emilys and Cassidy destroyed William for good. Devastated, he went to the always closed off ballpit (where they would hide the evidence of their crimes) and saw that it had almost took on a life of its own and became the first one to fall in and end up in another world.

A world where Michael Afton never existed. At the core he's jealous to see his siblings in a loving family home. Something he never got. But at least William's bloodlust still prevails. He's the only one to know Michael's true identity and accepts him as an accomplice.

Underneath everything he hides something even from William: a burning jealousy and hate for the Afton kids who are so pampered and praised. Everything he ever longed for. They are off limits but that doesn't mean he can't do his own secret tormenting. As long as none of them die. And besides he can always frame someone else if needed.

He secretly loathes Charlie and Cassidy for the role their other forms played in the death of his father in his world. Evan for simply surviving and not being so easily terrified. Laura Afton because his mother left him. Elizabeth because of how much Circus Baby stole his father's attention. Vanessa for getting to live a normal teenage life with no abuse or real fear. But hides it with fake smiles. While the real monster comes out when no one's looking.

[His personality is based on a mixture of movie Michael and Billy and Roman from the Scream franchise]

{Vanessa continues bleeding out from where the creature left her, unaware of everything going on.

In her mind however, she's fleeing down a dim light hallway that resembles that castle from the game, in that stupid fully golden restored gown (not the tattered version of it she's actually still wearing), tears streaming down her face, the purple corrupted tiara still firmly on her head. She's tried to pull it off but it seems attached so she gave up.

Mike and Abby (the two she really thought she could trust) had just told her they were done with her, that she was to blame for everything. To the point of both downright scaring her. So she did the only thing she could and ran, constantly tripping on the stupid gown. Everytime she tries to stop and tear it, some other nightmare or repressed memory pops up to torment her, again reminding her of her "crimes" and placing blame directly on her. She has a flash of visions including Leon ripped apart as she just stands there, unable to move.

Charlie sucked into a swirling black and white vortex desperately screaming her name. Paul taunting her how she's so easily manipulated and used by whoever sees it fit at the time with Vanny's laughter as she reminds her she's always going to stay weak and trapped, no matter who her captor is. The kids crying for her to stop. Numerous victims (some faceless) begging and blaming her. Metallic scraping and stomping chasing after her. Broken and unearthly screams and roars. And she just runs, unable to face any of it.}

[OOC: Trigger warnings for violence including 🔪💉 This "Charlie" is loosely based off the movie's Marionette so like extra extra dangerous 😎😈]

{The twisted Marionette stands fully straight, much taller than the original before lowering and lumbering forward slowly on all fours, with glowing deep purple eyes that almost appear black. Dark substance drips off it's sharp pointy claws and the lights around the room flicker, dimming more in the haze.

Vanessa freezes looking at it in horror. It roars before twisting it's body and neck unnaturally. There's scuttling heard in the vent behind it, but nothing comes out of it. The voice switches between a taunting child and something unearthly.}

Voice: "Why are you like that, Vanessa? Over and over, the same thing. You just keep doing it. Staying in denial doesn't change anything. "

Vanessa: [covers her ears and squeezes her eyes shut trying to shut it all out]

Voice: "You can't just ignore me, Vanessa. You know that's not how that works. You can't just ignore something and make it go away. Did you think you can just forget and move on? Pretend it never happened? That you're not covered in everyone's blood?"

Vanessa: "Leave me alone!!!"

Voice: [let's out a garbled staticy cackle before mimicking Vanny]"Oh, princess.... You know that will NEVER happen. It's not possible."

{Vanessa reluctantly opens her eyes and darts for the vent. It turns to face her and a glowing syringe appears in one of its hands, furthering her trauma, before lunging at her}

Voice: [changes to mimic Paul as it jabs the syringe in her neck] "You just keep messing it all up, don't you? I told you you were going to help bring him back."

Vanessa: "GET OFF ME!" [shoves it away, trying to climb in the vent before claws dig into her leg and drag her back out]

{Voice changes again to childlike giggling as it drives a blade deep into her side.}

[OOC: for anyone who wasn't there in the beginning the syringe was from her transition period into eventually becoming Vanny. When Vanny wasn't in control she was constantly attacked, 💉 and locked up by Paul and his security detail 😅. Girly's had a great time, hasn't she?]

{Vanessa stands frozen in shock and guilt as she watches the twisted version of the Marionette continue crawling out of the vent. The creature's smile is a sharp fanged grin that glints in the dim lights. When it finally stands up, it's much taller than the one she knows.}

Voice: [sounds like a twisted version of her best friend as the haze in the room gets thicker] "Vanessa...."

Vanessa: "Charlie?"

Voice: "Why would you run? Aren't we friends?"

Vanessa: "Char, I-"

Voice: "Or at least I thought so. Until everything YOU DID."

Vanessa: "I wasn't-"

Voice: "You know what you did, Vanessa. Just like with Ethan. And Susie and Jeremy. And all the others. Just exactly how many others were there? Do YOU even know?"

Vanessa: [shakes head frantically trying to calm down to prevent a panic attack] "No, I didn't... It wasn't my fault! None of it was! I never wanted ANY of this! You have to believe me!!!"

Voice: "Now don't be like that, Nessa. You know, we all know, exactly what you ARE."

{Childish menacing laughter echoes around her as Vanessa drops to her knees and just screams from fear and frustration of everything that's happened.}

{*After the groups were all attacked and Ella met back up with Crysta and her group, a metallic tendril grabbed Ella and dragged her into another room. Crysta, Poppy, and Sally followed after grabbing onto the tendril.

The door slams shut and latches behind them, cutting them off from the others as the floor opens, dropping them all below.*}

Ella: "Crysta!"

{*Suddenly many more tendrils shoot out from the wall and wrap around Crysta, Poppy, and Sally, restraining and wrapping around their necks*}

{Vanessa wakes up hours later laying on the bed looking up at the ceiling. Unfortunately she'd woken up seeing that none of it was just a nightmare but all too real. There wasn't any point in trying the door again. They were constructed to keep any and everything in. And if she had to guess, hidden and soundproof so no one would find it.

With Malhare's power completely gone and adrenaline rush long dried up, she'd finally had a moment to be forced to come to her senses. She has no idea where they are, except somewhere deep underground. How long had he had this place set up? How many children (and maybe others) had been dragged down here? What had been done to them? Had she or any of her family ever been here before? What else was held or trapped in other cages here? Were any of the others from the pizzaplex down here? Still alive? Why did she even want to come here? Was she unknowingly drawn in ?

And why had HE been down here? How long? What did he do down here? How many lives ended (or worse)?

She doesn't have the energy to even glare at the camera watching anything.}
