Recently started researching the history of my Hungarian family and with it the amazing language. Unfortunately, none of my family know the answer to my question. What does the surname Hangó mean in the original language? The best translation I can find is sound or loud, but thought I’d ask the people with more knowledge on the matter. Köszi!
