Love my Gardyn 4.0 and my plants were really thriving. I haven't found anyone else with this issue yet, but if you plan to get one just make sure the building you're in is able to support this device. Mine has been running for more than 6 months, but the plug melted part of an outlet in my rental today and could've caused a fire. It was too much for the house I'm in with the other normal appliances that usually run. An electrician was contacted and they said even if I were to get a power surge protector with a circuit breaker it might turn off the device, but the wiring would still overheat and go up into the attic where the insulation is. The only way around it would be to update all of the electrical wiring in the house and honestly that's really expensive for the homeowner and not really worth it in my opinion either. Anyway just a heads up if you live in an older home or apartment building with older wiring that doesn't support extra devices. Stay safe yall, I was very lucky this time!
