Hey r/FolkMusic,

I’ve been working heavily on updating the historical archives over at PeteSeeger.org to make sure his legacy, protest songs, and environmental activism are properly preserved online.

We recently compiled some deep dives into his time with the Almanac Singers, the stories behind his most famous civil rights anthems, and his work with the Clearwater. I wanted to share the site with this community for anyone researching folk history, looking for primary resources, or wanting to explore his discography!

You can check out those specific historical breakdowns here: https://peteseeger.org/radio/

What is your favorite era of Pete's music or his most impactful protest song in your opinion? Would love to discuss!
