Didn't I Just Feed You Podcast Question

I am hoping there might be a little cross-over in this group for people who listened to the Didn't I Just Feed You podcast. The show has retired, but I still listen to back episodes 😄 Any chance any one downloaded the word doc of all the What We're Cooking and Eating Now episodes? I didn't think to do that before their community went down and now I wish I had it!

Also - any recommendations on podcasts that are similar? Especially the What We're Cooking and Eating Now episodes. Legitimately, I wish that there was a podcast were parents just listed what they cooked that week and how it went over with their kids. This is the podcast I need.

Thank you in advance!

Snacking Bakes Recent bakes!

Snacking Bakes recent bake

  1. Strawberry Chocolate Almond Butter Bars - I enjoyed this so much more than I expected! But I think I just really like almond butter and almond extract, haha. The strawberries were unexpected, but worth it and the bit of flaky salt really puts it over the top. Absolutely recommend if you like almond! I bet the PB chocolate version is great too

  2. New Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies - my 9 YO made these on her own. They are your standard, delicious chocolate chip cookie

  3. Chocolate Cherry Pistachio Bars - one of my favorites from this book, I’ve made it many times. It is a bit more of an adult dessert, my kids would rather just have a brownie but I love it as written

  4. Berry Bran Cake (muffins) - I’ve made this just one as a cake, and many many times as a muffin. The whole family loves these. I am usually using frozen berries (whatever I have in the freezer) but wild blueberries or chopped cherries are my favorite. Lightly sweet, great bran flavor. I also usually sub yogurt for the buttermilk, since I don’t always have buttermilk on hand!

I know no one NEEDS another cookbook on this sub, but this came across my Amazon "Customers who viewed this item also viewed", and now I want it... 😃

For those who have this one, and maybe also have Yossy's two Snacking books, how does it compare? I love Snacking Cakes and Bakes because I can throw the recipes together within 15 minutes of coming home from work and have a fantastic dessert for dinner. I recently got Snackable Bakes by Jessie Sheehan and it does not scratch the same itch for me as Yossy.

So, please do what you lot do best and either convince me I have to buy this book as a pre-mother's day present to myself (and then let me know what recipes to try!) or if this is one I can skip/just buy on Kindle cause it's cheap on Kindle (but let's be honest, I don't use my Kindle cookbooks that well....)
