How to engage in the community?
Hello! New player here!
Maybe this question can be answered with just "Talk to people", but I want to know what I (and the many other new players) can do to have an easier time with our adventures in case we want to join other people.
Are there any etiquettes that everybody should be aware of? If I want to join a group of people for certain content, should I avoid my weird builds and stick to the meta? Are there any places where people use to meet more often? I also see some boss fights on YouTube and I wonder if people would get mad if someone messed up something.
I come from XIV, so I got used to a nice community that has gotten a little worse over the years, and I somehow see this game as more punishing for mistakes than XIV. I guess I'm just a little afraid of having a bad experience with the XI community.
