WiFi issues
I’ve had this issues for months now where my pc either says connect, secured and sometimes no internet, secured.
Here’s a list of everything that I’ve tried and yet no dice is there anything else I can do?
Restarted the PC.
Restarted the router.
Turned Wi-Fi off and back on.
Forgot the Wi-Fi network and reconnected.
Disabled power saving for the Wi-Fi adapter.
Set manual DNS:
8.8.8.8
1.1.1.1
Ran Command Prompt as Administrator and used:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Checked Device Manager for adapter issues.
Reinstalled/updated Wi-Fi drivers.
Installed a newer Intel AX200 Wi-Fi card.
Checked and adjusted the antennas.
Tested with your phone hotspot (which worked).
Checked ping tests (which timed out on Wi-Fi).
Checked the IP address assigned by the router.
Performed a Windows network reset.
Verified the adapter reports “working properly.”
Tested both Wi-Fi and hotspot to compare behavior.
It works sometimes for a couple hours then goes out again for another couple hours.
