I have been getting 6 week interval injections on my chest since January of kenalog only. This most recent one we tried introducing 5FU into the injections. Did anyone’s scars end up turning darker or browner? I notice some flattening but the color seems to appear darker? Does that mean it’s working? I got the injections about 1.5 week ago.
We recently changed out the flooring in our house and made it LBP all around. So we had to rip up the tile and this was what was left on the tub. Has anyone experienced this and how did u successfully remove it? It feels like a sticky gooey and some hard grout/adhesive maybe?
I need a doctor who specializes in keloids who inject both. Combination of Kenalog and 5fu.
I need help with treatment really bad. I suffered from acne and was put on an accutane treatment which broke me out bad. I was left with these scars and most of the front are raised scars. I’ve gotten kenalog 10 and 20 injections on the front and some minor ones in the back
Does anyone have any tips on what I should do? I seriously need help. I’m on session 4 and still my keloids on my chest just raise back up weeks after the injection. Does anyone recommend any type of lasering or other stuff to help make me look normal again? Anything to help my dark spots on my back?

I suffered body acne and after my accutane healed me I was left with a bunch of scars. I’ve been getting injections at my local derm but they don’t offer 5fu and stated they aren’t experienced with VBeam on keloids.
Does anyone have any recommendations in the Atlanta GA area?

After the consultation, she basically said that I was not a good candidate for VBeam bc of the keloid? But I’ve been seeing people greatly benefit from VBeam on active keloids/ raised keloids.
She said maybe in the future if it does become flat then she may be able to do the laser treatment.
Does anyone have any other opinions?

About last year I went through really bad chest acne and took accutane to help ease it out.
I started in June of 2025 and finished around December 2025.
It was brutal and I was left with these keloid scars all over.
The treatments I’ve done so far my dermatologist has been injecting kenalog shots mostly in just the bigger ones. And I’ve been wearing silicone sheets around the major ones on my chest
Jan 30th- received kenalog-10 on bigger main ones
March 18th- received kenalog-10 on more of them
April-20th. Received kenalog 20 on more spreaded out ones.
Next appointment will be May 21st.
I have not done any treatments cosmetic wise such as lasering and am focusing on the flatness first.
Has anyone went through similar to what I have and have any positive outcomes? These scars suck and it makes me depressed. I hope to be able to take off my shirt again.
Anyone have any other recommendations on treatments I can try out?
And no I have not taken steroids and I don’t even work out
