PBN Certificate?
Howdy,
I am nearing the end of my journey to convert my ATPL to EASA. I am ready to schedule the skills test, but I ran into something a little unexpected. The simulator center who has the FFS are happy to proceed and pair me with an examiner but they are unable to schedule anything until I provide a PBN certificate.
This is where I am struggling a bit because there is not much out there to explain what this certificate is, or how to obtain one. From the checklist the CAA sent me, there is no mention of a PBN certificate, only that the skills tests checks proficiency in PBN procedures, which seem pretty standard for the skills test.
I sent a message to the CAA if they could clarify, but while I’m waiting maybe someone here can help.
