im planning to rush this fall for a sorority, is ubc greek life very similar to america’s? are there ‘dirty rush events’ and stuff like that? do members live in frat and sorority houses? any other rush tips would be super helpful! thank you! also, does rush normally happen during first week of classes or like sept1-7?
im studying nutrition, should i get an ipad? i like to write stuff down, but id most likely type notes during lectures, but i like using my hands and writing the words, but ive only ever done it on paper. is an ipad way better and worth the money?
edit: i already have the newest mac and iphone, so i alr kinda have the apple ecosystem going, and im not gonna upgrade my laptop any time soon…
what are the chances of me getting a single connected? is single connected better than a single? i think so because i only share a bathroom with one other person, but then again what if my ‘roommate’ sucks? also, i dont get any choice of oc, totem or vanier? they’ll just put me in any? also any first yr housing tips in general?
