Man, Im so pissed that I only took their Scarlet studies compilations to hear now, amazing stuff, a Lot of Staples on the horror punk music Is here, great mix between speed metal, hardcore punk and Glam rock with a gorgeous melodic Edge, a criminally underrated Band for sure
So guys, I made a playlist called "Horror Punk 101" with the goal of introducing the genre to those who don't know it yet. The idea is to pick the main songs from the main bands, and I'd like to know your feedback! Note: there are some bands from my country, Brazil, with their names in Portuguese on this list.

I'm partly doing this because I've always enjoyed making lists due to my autism, and there's very little information about horror punk on the site, so I think it might be useful for anyone looking for new bands. Here's the link https://rateyourmusic.com/list/Crackpot_Baby/horror-punk-artists/ . If you have any suggestions or feedback on the list, just let me know!
I just wanted to share with you all that about two months ago I started my horror punk band in my city with some apprehension (I live in a small rural town in a poor region of Brazil), but I've been surprised by how things have evolved. I've found true partners in this endeavor who have embraced and believe in my idea, and with their support, my creativity has never been so vibrant... the way the original concept I developed for the band is maturing is still surreal to me; sometimes it seems like we're going too fast. This weekend I finally managed to finish composing my first song for the band, and it was a gratifying feeling that's impossible to describe. I felt that I can really do this as well as my musical idols like Lux Interior, Jim Morrison, Glenn Danzig, Alex Story, Joey Ramone, Johnny Cash, among others... I've never been so deeply connected to music.
I was wondering about this earlier; I think a big challenge for our niche is attracting more people, and I was thinking about which albums I would recommend to someone new to the genre, and I was curious about what your choices would be here on the subreddit.
