Why Malaysian leaders stop wearing like this anymore?

Instead of just wearing a blazer with no tie most of the time (which in my opinion looks a little bit informal especially for a PM to wear) l

I think wearing this kind of attire can bring a bit of formality in it.

I’ve always had this question. Sometimes our politics seems strange. In 2013, DAP (a social democratic party) united with PAS (an Islamist party), and now MUDA and Syed Saddiq—who often emphasize their ‘progressiveness’—seem to be drifting away from their ideology and becoming more pragmatic in their political positioning.
