HELP! How do You Find Your Endgame?
I use a FiiO M21 with an Apos Gemlin (Gold Lion Tubes) and a pair of DCA Noire X. It’s certainly not going to be the most-expensive stack among everyone, but it also wasn’t cheap. When I first put on my Noire X it was nirvana. Fast forward a few months and I’m already looking at a pair of Sennheiser HD 660S2, not because I think they’ll be better, but just different. I was listening to Stevie Nicks belt out the live version of “Landslide” and thought, “I bet her vocals would sound better on the 660S2s” (I already have the 490 Pro and 600). So I asked ChatGPT and, sure enough, it predicted her vocals would sound better on the 660S2. Mentally, I’ve already parted with the $399, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My question is, when does it end? How do I find that elusive endgame? Is anyone out there truly satisfied?
