Wall Padding Option
Before I started my build I looked at every possible solution for wall padding. Acoustic foam, impact tiles, gym mats, etc. I wanted a premium look, but paying 2k+ from one of the main providers for what is essentially foam & fabric was too difficult to swallow. I was set on building my own tiles, but was a bit wary of 1) how much work it would take and 2) likelihood of error.
A few months ago I came across a post on here from someone who ended up ordering from Alibaba at the below link and WOW am I glad I did. I truly can’t imagine them looking better. I am covering around 145sq-ft and needed a custom tile length to perfectly fit my build. Total cost with shipping…$557!
I had never ordered something from Alibaba, so the process was a bit unique, but apart from the 1-2 month shipping it was a breeze.
