Need advice on a Beovision MX5500: diagonal lines and weak picture

Hi everyone.

I recently picked up this Beovision MX5500 for free. It had been sitting outside exposed to the elements for who knows how long, covered in dirt and dust. I haven’t opened it up yet. I cleaned the exterior thoroughly and powered it on.

The TV turns on, and after a few seconds the static/snow effect appears normally. I then tested a PS1 on both SCART inputs, and both behave the same way.

The picture looks quite washed out overall: blacks are more grey than black, although colors are still present and whites seem okay. The biggest issue is the diagonal lines visible across the image/photos.

Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Is this set likely beyond saving, or could it still be recoverable with some servicing/work?
