Part of the reason we heavily mod (lock/review a lotta stuff)
Frequent purges occur of large subreddits, including teen oriented ones, and it appears the other day, r/AskTeenBoys and r/AskTeenGirls, both subreddits with probably 80-100k+ members got banned for lack of moderation, i.e. inappropriate posts, TOS-breaking content, etc being completely unreviewed by moderators.

This is part of why we make sure to look, and of course you don't see this on the public end, but manually APPROVE every post or in some cases REMOVE. Also, this has been up for over a year, but Rule 12 has very explicit details on the poll-locking criteria, and our wiki has even more information on rule-breaking content that frankly is mostly just the same expectations of general Reddit TOS.
Also just as a side note, if you want to have subreddit collaborations as we've had some collab requests recently, please mod-mail us and we can connect and add each other to the sidebar.
Feel free to ask questions if they come up or mod-mail.
