Dearest REDDIT, I need some buoying my own hope about my student loans and have done research but feel truly all of the H.A. L. T ( hungry, Angry, Lonely,Tired?but awake) emotions while writing this.
I have NELNET and was in grad school during COVID, out #3+ years haven’t been paying in much but if I can - I do - maybe like 10+ payments (with 100K remaining - gulp I feel shame even writing this but also held by you Reader. Anyway I've been intermittently working + really also caring for a parent/self. I am on the struggle bus about what to do... like possibly could qualify for SSDI = having trouble even writing this out without crying. ANY ADVICE IS HELPFUL
