Anyone else drowning in AI API bills with zero visibility into who's spending what?
Solo founder here. Building a tool for this
specific problem and looking for people facing it.
The situation I keep hearing:
Company has 10-15 developers using Claude and
GPT-4o in production. Bill arrives. Nobody knows
which team, which developer, or which feature
drove the cost. Finance person spends 4 hours
downloading CSVs from three provider dashboards
and stitching them in Excel. CFO still isn't satisfied.
What I'm building: a real-time dashboard,
Slack alerts at 80% and 100% of budget,
a weekly CFO email digest, and a proxy that
enforces hard budget limits per team before
a single dollar gets spent. Two line env var
change. No code changes for developers.
