Map Updates

I have a 2020 Limited. I’ve never used “MyHyundai” in all the years I’ve had the car. My maps need updating. If I sign up for a subscription to that cause I know the free period was just right after you purchased it. Does it automatically do updates? How does that work?

Thanks to the guy…

I have a 2020 limited that just turned 107,000 miles. I had been doing some routine maintenance replacing spark plugs, coolants, fluids, brakes, tires alignment, etc that sort of stuff as needed. However, when I got my alignment done (not at dealer) it was brought to my attention that my rear shocks were leaking. So I had gotten an estimate from my regular mechanic to do the work but came to this group looking for some other information first only to find out that there was an extended warranty to replace the shocks for certain model year Palisades 🎉 so whoever shared that information with me, thank you!!! I took it in and the dealership replaced them for me at no charge. Also they did my cabin filter, engine filter and I had a leaking front CV boot so got that replaced as well. They took care of some recall work and out the door it was about $600 so I appreciate everyone’s insight and just wanted to come back here and say Thank You, because of you, I didn’t pay for rear shocks out-of-pocket! #singlemomsave

So I have a 2020 Palisade Limited! My AC compressor died just after she turned 100k miles. I’m at 106k now. I was delaying because I wasn’t sure I was keeping it.

Well, I decided I’m keeping her, until she’s just not worth fixing anymore. I asked my mechanic to also do routine maintenance for age/mileage etc- So I’m doing the spark plugs, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, oil change, front brake pads, ac compressor and freon recharge for $1850. It will be 🥵 here soon, it’s time

The AC compressor didn’t really surprise me, I’d read many articles about the fact that it was pretty common failure in these cars. Is there anything else I should be on the lookout for that might be a higher dollar item as the car ages (110k*)? I’m in Arizona not much weather to consider other than extreme heat. Also, my driver side / passenger leather seats have pretty noticeable wear, no tears, but I feel like it’s wearing badly. Is there anything I can do to repair make it look a little bit nicer, etc..
