US/Irish citizen waiting on my Irish Passport
I'm a US citizen who has just been placed on the FBR in Ireland. About to apply for my Irish Passport but my husband who is a British Citizen lives in the UK. Could i go over to visit and help him set up our house until I have my Irish passport, then I should be able to just stay, right? (and THEN set up work/healthcare). Considering of course it is not a very long time I'm visiting before.
Second question (not necessarily having to coincide with the first one):
My son (my husband's stepson) is 6 (US citizen) and we are expediting a family visa for him. Is there anyway with me being an Irish citizen and my husband being a British citizen that we can file for him inside the UK or does it absolutely have to be from the US?
