Need i say more..?

He just finished preening himself before this and he tends to do it at-least once or twice per day. Can anyone explain why? To me he looks like he’s trying to get the extra fluff he picked out off of him lol

Ive had this little guy since march 7th, he used to listen to me quite a bit around 2 months ago. He’d step up onto my finger, fly onto my head, and at-least act like our friendship wasn’t purely transactional.. now most of the time, he’s got a sassy ass attitude, will shuffle himself backwards all smug when i try to ask him to get on my finger (even with treats sometimes), and 9 times out of 10 wont listen unless there’s treats involved ( he will genuinely inspect my other hand for it and will only listen if he sees something he likes). Not only this but i absolutely cannot convince him that my hands and fingers aren’t evil worms..? Like, he’ll step up if i have the usual gun fingers pose he steps on but anything other than that, he will fight tooth and nail and hiss at my hands like an angry dinosaur. I cant even count the amount of times I’ve fed him tiny sunflower seeds from those same damn fingers and he hasn’t cared. I think he’s developing a very rebellious and gluttonous personality. I still love him regardless and it makes the times where he listens much more special but he’s still just a bitch to me 😭. He does like me and it is obvious, but lord does he love testing my patience. Does anyone have any reason as to why he’s like this or did i actually just get a sassy chirpchacho..

I think he’s abusing the infinite keratin glitch, those feathers are just a fraction of the gifts he’s leaving me. Shedding all these feathers and he’s still just as FAT

For the last few days, he’s been slightly more avoidant and tends to stay on his perch a lot more than usual. Im sure you’ve all heard about the horrors of the UK heatwave, and I’m just wondering if this off behaviour is usual for a tiel. Of course I’ve been showering him as much as possible, he normally protests these and storms about his cage like your spraying poisonous gas, but he’s been enjoying the mist more now. Its starting to cool down a bit so hopefully his behaviour changes. I leave for holiday in a couple days and just wanted to make sure everything was right before i go.
