I am going through boxes in my basement (Alberta, Canada) and I have lots of my mother’s old books. Some are little 15-cent story paperbacks from the 1950s-60s. Some are Family Journal magazines from the 1950s. And there are some old cookbook pamphlets, an issue of the Edmonton Bulletin newspaper from March 13, 1948, etc. It seems a shame just to donate them to charity or to recycle them. Is there a place you know of that might be interested in these sorts of publications that would hold them for posterity? Thanks in advance.
