I have been dealing with this horrible issue since December 2025. Finally got approval for the steroid shot. The surgery center called me today and said they want $1000 up front and the rest on a payment plan. Where the hell do they think people will find that kind of cash?

I want to cry. I can't live like this. I asked my PCP for a mental health referral as I am having intrusive thoughts and am so depressed.

The US healthcare system is such a joke. All the money on insurance premiums and I can't even get a shot to help me function.
