Please help two honeymoon rookies pick a Cancun all-inclusive (AI is not helping, at all)

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for mid-July and we are officially in the “reading too many reviews and trusting none of them” phase lol

We’re mid 20's and looking for an adults-only all-inclusive for about 5 nights

Ideally, we do a travel + stay package (budget of $4,500 or less)

What we care about most:

  1. Good food
  2. Safe/easy location
  3. Adults-only
  4. Nice honeymoon/couples vibe
  5. Not boring, but not a full-blown party resort either

Basically, we don’t need Vegas pool party stuff, but we also don’t want the too old crowd vibe.

The resorts we’ve been looking at:

  • Live Aqua Cancun
  • Riu Palace Kukulkan
  • Excellence Playa Mujeres
  • Atelier Playa Mujeres

Live Aqua seems like it may have the better food, but maybe a little calmer/boring?

Riu Kukulkan looks newer and maybe more fun, but food reviews seem more mixed.

Hyatt Zilara seems like it might be the middle ground, but we’re not sure if it’s worth the extra money.

For people who have actually stayed at these, where would you send a honeymoon couple who wants good food, good drinks, a nice beach/pool setup, and enough energy that the resort doesn’t feel dead?

Any honest advice would be greatly appreciated!
