Two weeks ago vs today.
Cat was prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and ear drops. He has been getting new growths every day since taking the medication.
We have an upcoming vet appointment but would love advice to know how to proceed.
First pic is two weeks ago, second pic is this morning. I brought my cat to the vet two weeks ago for a suspected ear infection. His ear was swollen and full of ear wax. The vet gave him a week of antibiotics, ear drops, steroids. We have finished the antibiotics, have lowered the dosage of steroids 2x and still giving ear drops. Did the steroids somehow give my cat a bad reaction? His ear has been getting new growths daily.

Tim will be 15 this fall if all goes well. He has a suspected mass in his ear, currently being treated with antibiotics and steroids to reduce the inflammation. He has hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and a history of tumors. He is the sweetest, most loving cat. Hoping for good news at our next vet appointment but I’m also preparing for the worst.
