How long did it take before day trading started to feel natural to you?

I’ve been day trading for a while, and one thing that surprises me is how different it feels compared to learning a strategy on paper. Reading charts is one thing, but making decisions in real time while managing risk and emotions is a completely different challenge.

For those who are consistently profitable, when did things start to click? Was there a specific lesson or experience that changed the way you approached day trading?
