Hope this season is not one sided like Gilli's season

Just saw BBK13 promo, I’m really hoping this season won’t be as one-sided as last year. It felt like nearly 70% of the screen time, whether the content was positive or negativ ended up revolving around Gilli. He was undoubtedly a major part of the season, but for BBK13, I’d love to see stronger competition, multiple contestants driving the narrative, and a more balanced game overall. That would make the season a lot more exciting and unpredictable.

My take on Gilli and Kavya friendship

During the first three weeks, I genuinely felt they looked great together. The way they supported and stood up for each other made them seem like a strong pair. The main issue with Gilli is that once he's triggered by something, he tends to keep repeating it for a long time. When Chandraprabha and some of the other housemates kept teasing him about the rakhi incident, he lost his composure and repeatedly brought up "Kavu, I love you," which felt quite cringe at times. I think they should have had a serious conversation about it.

After around the 10th week, Gilli stopped teasing, but then I felt the mistake shifted to Kavya's side. Repeatedly calling him out during the weekend episodes seemed unnecessary and, at times, looked like an attempt to emphasize her independence.

Interestingly, they looked good in finale week. My overall take is that if the housemates hadn't unnecessarily interfered in their relationship and dynamics, we might have witnessed the best pairings ever seen in Bigg Boss without any flaws. They became extremely popular as a duo, but some of the behavior and misunderstandings during the middle weeks affected the credibility and perception of their bond.

Dhruvant - Unintentionally funny

Out of all the moments in Bigg Boss, the most embarrassing one for me was during the Dhruvant VT 😭 The overexpressions and reactions were too much to watch. Dude really behaved like he had already won the season, and every replay of that moment still gives me second-hand embarrassment 😅

Looks Presentation

I don’t hate Gilli at all. In fact, I feel he deserved to win. But one thing I noticed is that he understands the audience pulse extremely well. Like, if he had maintained the same polished look he had during the finale throughout the season, I’m not sure he would’ve connected this much with the masses. Sometimes I used to wonder why he always kept the messy hair and unfiltered grooming style, but later I realized that look actually made him feel more relatable to a lot of people.

I’m not saying it's wrong, I think he’s just very intelligent when it comes to understanding how to connect with the audience and win their support.

Just finished watching BBK12 completely because of all the hype around it 😅

My review on the Top 6 contestants:

• Gilli – One man show 🔥 entertainer, loyal, carried many weekend episodes single handedly … but gets irritating to the core when someone triggers him, Somberi, could have played some tasks better

• Rakshita – Enterainer for sure 😂 but sometimes cringe pro max.

• Ashwini Gowda – Very strong in tasks for her age, but as a person felt worst to the core.

• Kavya – Heartedly good person, but very calculative.

• Raghu – Same… too calculative and fake at times.

• Dhanush – Coward vibes mostly, tries hard to stay in good books.
