There are over 130 elm trees along Boston’s comm ave mall that date back to original plantings from 1860-1868 during the start of the Gilded Age. Amazing so many survived Dutch elm disease. Always impressive to walk among them.

Shaw memorial elms on Boston common. Love seeing these 2 English Elms dating back to 1770s, popping out leaves for yet another summer!
