Doubt regarding US B2 visa for Indian

No relatives or friends in the US
Currently studying mbbs in Russia
I’m an Indian medical student studying in Russia for the past three years and have three years left for graduation. I want to be a traveller and currently travel to countries during my summer and winter holidays at university.
I also travelled to Dubai during my last year’s summer holidays and plan trips to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Bhutan and Azerbaijan for this year’s summer holidays. My interview will be in India after my trip to these countries.
My studies are ongoing and I have three more years until graduation. After that, I plan to clear the foreign medical graduate exam and begin postgraduate studies in India after clearing the NEET PG. I have no other plans for travelling to the US, aside from short tourism before my summer break ends. (I have my leave application with dates and signed from my university officials.)
I’ve also heard that sometimes US B1/B2 applicants who studied in or travelled to countries like Russia may get extra scrutiny or 221(g) administrative processing.
Has anyone here with a similar background (Russia student/travelled to Central Asia/CIS countries) successfully got a US tourist visa recently? Did you face any issues, delays or extra questions in the interview?
