Hi all,

I'm in the humanities and starting the process of turning my dissertation into my first book. In your experience about how long does it take to do the revisions? How long to get a book contract? I realize this can vary a lot, but trying to get a rough idea of what's realistic bc i tend to be very unrealistic with goal setting. I'm free of teaching obligations until end of August, but do have teaching prep to get done over summer. Need to maximize summer as much as possible bc once in session i teach in person about 15 hrs a week. Any advice you've got is appreciated honestly, especially about an efficient workflow.
