Oxytocin Peptide Advice

Recently decided to add oxytocin to the research. Everyone talks about intranasal for mood benefits, but I wanted to observe how the test subject responded through a different route first. About 1-2 minutes after administration, the test subject got hit with an intense wave of warmth throughout the entire body and what felt like a surge of adrenaline. Not gonna lie, it was pretty amazing at first, but then the test subject’s heart started pounding hard and things got a little anxious. The intense part lasted maybe 3-5 minutes. One thing worth mentioning is that a nicotine pouch is usually used around the same time, so I’m not sure if the oxytocin, nicotine, anxiety, or some combination of all three was responsible for the heart-racing effect. Afterward, though, the test subject felt incredibly calm, peaceful, and socially comfortable. Later that night the test subject was more talkative, engaged, laughing more, and noticeably less self-conscious than usual. It was almost like all the background social anxiety just got turned way down. I’ve repeated the research a handful of times since, mostly in social settings, and the positive effects seem pretty consistent. The warmth and pounding heartbeat seem to happen every time, but only for a few minutes before settling down into the calm/social effects.

Has anyone else observed this with oxytocin research? Is that initial rush a known effect, or does it sound more like a reaction, nicotine interaction, or anxiety response? Curious to hear other experiences.

TL;DR: Been researching peptides for a few months now (Reta, GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, Selank/Semax, MOTS-c) and honestly the test subject has shown some pretty impressive observations with things like food cravings, nicotine/caffeine dependence, recovery, and especially social anxiety. But advice appreciated on potential reaction to oxytocin.
