As for the name of Haydi, it was an original name for Hat Kid I came up with a number of years ago but stopped using. I'm gonna use this in my AU as a nickname for Hailey.

Nickel is an OC I had lying around from a Discord OC RP server I eventually left, hes a child >!surgically attached to a suit of!< power armour he cannot take off and now has to tolerate a lot of shit, Kerboodle isn't fucking helping as is the tradition.

The whole Kerboodle of weapons and technology, combined into one smug bastard.

Name/nickname: Kerboodle.

Age: 108 years old.

Race: Valekein (combat android from Hell).

Height & build: 5ft 5in, build is thin but well built.

gender/pronouns: genderless robot partially based off of navarian bullshit, they/them.

nationality & accent: St Valain’s Star, US accent.

General appearance: Short black hair, at around neck height, tan skin, Cat ears (acoustic radar). Eyes are brown. Robotic wings sprout from her shoulders connected to turbojets, feathers are sharp and act as radiators.

Clothing preferences: While Kerboodle is a large ass robot with lots of thick armour and shielding, they are capable of using holographic technologies to hide that armoured bulk. They prefer baggy masculine clothes that allow for movement.

Personality: Kerboodle is internally skittish and generally kinda paranoid about new people, mostly due to them potentially working for the megacorp that wants to scrap them…or people in general. Around those they trust however (and as a front in general to hide that skittish paranoia), Kerboodle is generally playful and pleasant if especially foul mouthed and wishes to do the right thing, not giving a shit about the methods of doing that good thing. Kerboodle can also be stuck up and smug as shit.

Sexuality: pansexual.

Habits: a lot of fidgeting, bro has digital ADHD. Prone to glitches and short spasms due to being a prototype basically built out of multiple different robots.

Likes: Independence, friends, themself (a lot…they can be pretty stuck up at times).

Dislikes: Megacorporations, corporations, the inventor that made them (due to him joining the megacorp), betrayal in general.

Abilities: Valekein.

  • Physical capabilities: Superhuman strength (can deadlift 3000 tons), flight with both wings and inbuilt jet thrusters in the legs and wings (can reach speeds of 2100mph at altitudes, however is capable of reaching Earth Orbit if all power is directed to thrusters). Kerboodle has inbuilt NVGs, XRAY and thermal vision built in and can scan objects and people, Kerboodle can zoom in on things.
  • Main ability; Nanobyte weapons locker! Thanks to a number of strange techs from Type-IV civilisations Kerboodle can basically deploy a number of internal weapons and items from various hatches and flaps through nanobyte storage ranging from life-saving equipment and non-lethals to literal stationary weapons that require them to root herself to the ground to deploy and fire effectively such as Davy Crockett nukes and ASATs. Kerboodle even has APS!
  • Kerboodle also has an internal fabricator that allows her to take materials and atomically convert them into either munitions, weapons or new parts and systems.
  • All of Kerboodle’s limbs have their own CPU and robot brain, basically allowing it to fight without a head.

Skills: Hand-to-hand combat, codebreaking, construction, scouting, stealth, ricocheting things.

Weaknesses: Kerboodle is heavy, despite their compact size that combination of systems and the armour combines to a whopping 127kgs. Kerboodle is also prone to glitching and can be distracted, both by shiny things or by feeding her ego.

Equipment.

  • Weapons: Kerboodle’s main weapon is a powerful arm cannon on their right forearm, said cannon is capable of penetrating light-medium armour and has a range of modes (Scattershot, precision/charge shot, chaingun. can fire missiles). Kerboodle’s left forearm contains a multitool as well as a 60cm internal retractable blade, a retractable ballistic capable of firing either fire extinguisher foam or a flamethrower and a 6000rpm circular saw. Kerboodle’s Nanobyte locker contains a huge variety of weapon systems but the basics are shoulder-mounted rocket launchers and recoilless rifles, back-mounted heavier launch systems, grenade dispensers, gas dispensers and the arm-cannon can shift into an automatic grenade launcher or bolter. These are split into different classes ranging from non-lethal to literal warcrimes to nuclear weapons.
  • Armour: Nanobyte Armour: Kerboodle’s armour plating is capable of regenerating itself and morphine thanks to it also using nanobytes, it is constructed out of a combination of Avernmentium, Wraithbone and Duraplast nanobytes and can be regenerated fastest when exposed to liquids.
  • Other: Kerboodle has both passive and active weapon systems which disrupt and/or intercept incoming projectiles, the APS uses small micromissiles to intercept projectiles.

A Hat in Time: The manor is a concept A Hat in Time fangame made by my dumbass which is essentially a slidescroller horror shooter with grungy and gory aesthetics with realistic gunplay whilst also fitting the A Hat in Time Universe in a semi-realistic format, it is inspired mainly by A Hat in Time’s cut content & Vanessa’s curse, Silent Hill, Amnesia: The Bunker & two roblox games: Grave/Digger & Flood Escape 1.7 (there are tunnel segments). The Manor is also a place where I get to use my firearms autism to select the strangest and most odd firearms choices so I can torture Hat Kid via forcing her to use strange guns with either horrid reliability or shit ergonomics.

The Manor takes place within a backrooms-esc version of Vanessa’s manor following it and its unwilling occupants being exposed to a number of errant spells and rituals committed by the insane Vanessa, the place is very big with around 5 rooms, two layers of attic, three basement floors and large tunnel and vent networks that Hat Kid has to crawl around in. Hat Kid must contend with the ever-present and invincible threat of Vanessa as well as her since corroded corrupted puppets, Moonjumper brainwashed Vanessa cursed puppets and Moonjumper cultists that wish to kill her…however unlike the last time Hat Kid was here her skeletal structure has dramatically strengthened. Theres also something in the tunnels...

This will be split into a number of chapters and pages with this one covering mechanics, basic lore and some level of storyline. One will have characters and monsters and one will have the weapons I have sentenced Hat Kid to suffer with and perks. This isn't meant to be connected to Original Aether (the rewrite of TGHT) but I did connect them anyway.

Synopsis.

It's been three years since A Hat in Time and Hat Kid is having a shitty homelife, alone in a dingy old mansion with a stepmother that cares more about her own money then her daughters (if she died and Hat Kid inherited her stepmother's wealth she would be a fucking billionaire) and two older siblings that rarely visit and barely speak to her. Hat Kid has had enough, though her attempt to run away goes south when, while climbing out of her bedroom window with bedsheets tied into a rope, she slips and falls to what appears to be her death.

Hat Kid later awakes in a dingy but familiar attic, it's that manor house she braved all those years ago…but bigger, a liminal space almost. This is not where she wants to be, oh no, with a flashlight and pistol as her only tools, becoming more reliant on guns and a whiney Princess with fire powers as an annoying companion she must leave while evading trouble…while uncovering the mysteries of Subcon and more along the way.

MORE WILL COME, HOWEVER THE DOCUMENT AIN'T DONE YET...AND PROCRASTINATION IS A BITCH.
