An absolute joy to shoot and such a good looking rifle

I bought this maple as nursery stock about 4 years ago, planted it in the ground to thicken it up a bit and wired it while in the ground to give it a bit of shape. Just put it in a net pot a few weeks ago before the buds opened and pruned the roots slightly, seems to have taken it well. Is the “s shape” curve unsightly? Didn’t want to make too many decisions for a final shape yet, wanted to make sure it was healthy and let it grow since it was already under stress from being up. I realize it could have stayed in the ground much longer but I tend to like a more “feminine” Japanese maple styling.

Any advice is welcomed.
