Tide laundromats: do they have an unfair advantage or how is it competing against them?

I'm doing research about the industry to educate myself before jumping in. Today I discovered Tide has entered the industry with their own Tide Laudromats and Tide Cleaners.

There isn't one near me / in the areas I'm scouting. I'm curious to hear from owners who have one they compete with: when did it open? Do you feel they have an unfair advantage maybe from their capital, or their connections or brand name?

If you don;t have one near you, have you visited any, what do you think their advantage besides the recognizable brand is?

It's so interesting to me because on one hand I'm hearing a lot of owners say the industry is starting to be saturated and indeed there's a ton of laudromats in Florida where I'm looking, and on the other, here's a giant laundry detergent brand from P&G, who's also opening laundromats and cleaners... which tells me maybe there's still opportunities?

Laundromat owners and staff: what's your policy on pets inside the store and on washing pets bedding / items?

I'm looking into the laundromat business and maybe this is a weird question, but I'm curious about the industry's best practices when it comes to (1) allowing pets inside the laundromat, and (2) washing pets items like blankets, bedding, harnesses etc. ?

Do you have dedicated machines for that? Or is that not something people do or an issue customers ever complain about?
