The Backstitching is over! It's Done!

So much regret in the moment for swapping two colours for light effects (white for the backstitching and the lightest blue ) it is awful to work with, brittle and stiff but hopefully the shiny is worth it.

It did take a blood sacrifice though so my needle minder will be carefully positioned from now on for any progress pics.

This was done with a mix of couching (tacking down the thread with another thread) and backstitching.

Pattern is Visit the Mines of Moria be Country Magic Stitch, I just have the text at the bottom to finish now.

[CHAT] The cheese and biscuits theory

Bear with me on this one it's a bit late here.

My mum had a thing about cheese and biscuits, she used to say that if you had a plate of cheese and crackers, sooner or later you'd run out of cheese for the crackers.

Easy remedy, go get some more cheese.

But then you have too much cheese for the crackers and have to get more biscuits and so on and so forth.

All this to say, I've just spent my evening convincing myself that I'll sew one more thread whilst this episode is on, then I get to the end of the episode and I'm still halfway through my thread, so I'll start the next episode. Obviously I'll have to start another thread part way through... And so on and so forth.

TLDR it's 01:45 and I've watched enough episodes of All Creatures Great and Small to start thinking in a Yorkshire accent. Goodnight everyone
