Help me smell like a dirtbag!
I've always been really picky about mass market perfumes, and in the past few years have gotten into niche and started figuring out what I like. I've gotten a ton of "weird" samples over the years but have bought very few full bottles, and I think they all have in common that they smell... Kind of dirtbag in some way? Not truly *weird* but often kind of divisive. I generally like: Rose, lavender, violet magnolia, citrus, Amber, civet, gasoline, tobacco. I never want to smell like: Jasmine, vanilla. I want alluring but a little off-putting or dirty or like... The morning after when you should be wearing something lighter but you're still in last night's perfume and mascara.
The perfumes I have a full of are:
Cherry Punk, smells like eating pie in a gas station at 3am in a leather jacket while smoking a cigarette
Little Song, smells like little old lady alcoholics smoking and drinking stale coffee in the back of an AA meeting but sexy
El Cosmico, smells like rain in the Sonoran desert where I grew up but like... The specifically gasoline smell of creosote
A perfume someone made for one of my characters (I'm a romance novelist) that's rose/lavender/lemon but is best described as "Vampire Grandma."
I've got about 25 samples in carts right now and am just looking for anyone's ideas about scents that smell like bad ideas/the hot masc you shouldn't go home with but the bar bathroom light is alluring and summer nights are long and their motorcycle is fast.
