Bug: Tab-switching keyboard shortcuts don't work on Google Sheets in Opera Neon
There’s a bug in Opera Neon where the keyboard shortcuts to switch between tabs (CMD + Option + Left/Right on Mac) stop working entirely if your current tab is Google Sheets.
I rely heavily on keyboard shortcuts, and switching tabs left/right is probably my single most used shortcut. I also use Google Sheets constantly. So this bug constantly breaks my workflow by forcing me to reach for my mouse every single time I need to change tabs.
I’ve used or at least tried many major browsers before (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Safari, Firefox, ChatGPT Atlas, Comet, etc.), and none of them have this problem. This is the first time I’ve seen a browser do this.
Here is a screen recording showing the bug in action: https://youtu.be/yU18STC3_U0
Pay attention to how switching between tabs with shortcut keys stops working when the tab is on Google Sheets.
I know this may sound like a small bug, but for people who use Google Sheets and keyboard shortcuts heavily, it’s actually pretty disruptive. I hope this can be looked into and fixed soon.
