A blast from the past! (re-read)
So, just bought this omnibus as an ebook. Useless me trivia: Storm of Iron was the very first 40K book that I ever read, and, yes, it made me want to collect Iron Warriors (I painted one Terminator model with hazard stripes and thought ‘feth this’).
I remember really enjoying the book when I read it (I would’ve been about 13? Maybe 14) so I’m looking forward to the re-read!
How are the short stories, and how essential would it be to read the Uriel Ventris books along with this, since I’ve read those and remember Honsou popping up in those, as well?
