Shift Rest and Sleeping

Me again, with another question.

There are 4 shifts in a day. Sleeping takes 1 shift and a shift rest (obviously) takes 1 shift. Can these two things happen during the same shift? My initial thought was, yes, but on further reading I became confused whether the shift rest requires dedicated attention and shouldn't (or couldn't) be done while sleeping.

I don't remember what I read in the Rulebook that made me feel that way.

Monster Form, Let's Talk

Monster Form (Witchcraft, rank 5) seems fun - but like, kind of crazy, right?

"In monster form, you follow the rules for monsters on page 83 of the Rulebook. You gain the monster’s stats and monster attacks, which you may choose freely each time you attack, except that you cannot perform the same attack twice in a row. You can also choose to perform other actions, as long as the GM deems it reasonable considering your monster form"

I'm assuming when it say's "you gain the monster's stats" it doesn't mean ferocity, right? Cause if it does, that's bonkers.

Cool spell though.

Heroic Abilities vs Spells

So I'm reading the Book of Magic and seeing these detailed spell trees and I love how it's displayed. The only problem is, I'm over here getting excited about spellcasters with all these new options and I can't help but think there is something missing with how the current Heroic Abilities work. I would love to see progression trees like those found in the book of magic but for HAs instead, though I realize you'd probably have to give out more HAs than the Core Rules suggest. It just seems to me that there are certain abilities that are so much more powerful than the others and I can't help but think that the system feels a little flat when compared to spell progression.

I'm sure most of us have seen berserker at our gaming tables but how often are you seeing Lone Wolf or Sea Legs? Maybe if they had ranks and prereqs we would see a more balanced selection of abilities? Again, with the caveat that characters would need to receive more abilities. I'm thinking back to the skill trees that FFG Star Wars used and I wonder if something like that could work for Dragonbane.

Anyone else feel this way or just me?

I'm new to Legion and to full scale war gaming in general. I have played many skirmish games, but never had to deal with transporting full scale armies with bigger vehicle miniatures. What are your preferred options for transporting your armies?
