UK visitor visa

Hello all. i want to apply for a UK visitor visa in october of this year to travel in january

context: i have my own hotel bookings and itinerary for the 10 days. im going as a tourist and im going as a fully sponsored, by my father, applicant.

however, i have a girlfriend in the UK. i have been researching on whether or not i should declare her but im seeing that the application form does not even ask for a girlfriend. they ask for civil partnership, married, fiancee, unmarried partner etc. my girlfriend qualifies for none of these.

in addition to that, itinerary my is that of a pure tourist cuz i really will be sightseeing around the UK. and its realistic for a single person too.

my question is should i declare my girlfriend abruptly? shes not hosting, shes not funding nor is she sponsoring me and the form doesnt even ask bout "friends in the UK" or general romantic interests.

i do not have family in the UK either.

Hotel prepayment visit visa

Hello

i just have a quick question on my visit visa. i am going to prepay the hotel before i apply using a credit card since egyptian law doesnt allow for debt cards to pay off anything international. im sponsored so im talking about my sponsor here. hes the one prepaying,

my question is when showing proof that the hotel is prepaid, do i also need to show the credit card used to pay it off? it has its own debt and liabilities. or is the hotel receipt and invoices enough on their own?

i understand that UKVI guidance does not suggest hotel payments as good evidence. i am doing this purely because i want to catch the hotel at a relatively low price before it gets more expensive

Visit visa budgeting

I am planning to apply for a visit visa in like 3 months. i have a question

When allocating a budget per day, how much is recommended? i know UKVI doesnt have a minimum amount.

i am going to canterbury for 10 days. my plan is to allocate 600 gbp for 10 days whichis 60/day EXCLUDING my hotel. in my cover letter/itinerary i am heavily relying on free sightseeing and low cost areas.

Canterbury is also very walkable since im right in city center, so this is why i have a 60/day budget.

my question being is this enough for UKVI or will the 60 get me refused?

extra context: i have 3000 gbp in additional funds which i am allocating the 600 from (source is proven fully)

QNB InstaPay sender name showing as "IPN????" on both app and official PDF statement. is this an issue for UK visa application?

My father sends me a monthly allowance of 6,000 EGP via InstaPay from his account to my QNB account. On my QNB app and even the official PDF statement, the sender name shows as "IPN????" instead of his name. His account is registered in Arabic which I think is causing an encoding issue on QNB's end.

Will this be a problem for my UK visitor visa application? im showing my bank statements cuz im funding the flights out of my own balance. my balance is build from that allowance and other sources of income irrelevant to this post. my question will this be enough:

  • NBE statements showing outgoing InstaPay transfers on matching dates and amounts.
  • InstaPay screenshot showing a clear "from" and "to" links with date and amount.

will this be enough to bridge this weird "IPN????" gap and to show that the funds are not unexplained?

UK visit visa: ties to home

I want to apply for a UK visit visa later this year, but i want to ask for advice on smth. I am a 3rd year student in electrical engineering with an internship in progress, a bank account showing savings about 90K egp over along period of time from the internship and monthly allowance from my father, and my military postponement certificate to show a legal obligation to return home as military service is mandatory.

also family ties since i have no friends or family in the UK.

Are these enough to prove intent to return since i have no concrete economic ties? like a job or assets in my name.

note: i can provide documents for all the ties listed above and nothing clashes with one another.

My dad is my sponsor for a UK visitor visa application. He works at General Petroleum Company (GPC) which is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt.

Besides his regular GPC salary, he receives additional deposits directly from the Ministry of Petroleum itself. These are clearly labeled on his bank statements as coming from 'Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' but we have no formal documentation explaining them beyond that label.

We believe they're related to his work given the direct GPC-Ministry relationship but we haven't been able to obtain an official secondment or supplementary income letter.

My questions:

Is the clear label on the statement sufficient?

Should we explain it in the sponsor letter and if so how?

Could this raise flags despite the obvious GPC-Ministry connection?
