How to stop a style of speaking that is forming.
Not sure if this is where to ask. But I've been picking up the informal way of speaking, as I have lived in the South of the U.S. for all of my life.
It's nothing dramatic like the stereotypical cowboy yee-haw tone, but it's not formal, in the way of saying "It don't matter" rather than "it doesn't matter."
This is the case for a lot of words, and I'd like advice of how to possibly stop this.
