Legitimately, how is everyone handling these astronomical gas prices? I am so angry every time I need to fill up. How are you all doing it? Costco is one of the best places in town and it’s always a mad house, gives me much anxiety.
Does anyone else think the Sonoma County Fair is just a little blah this year? We went last night (first Saturday), and it just seemed like everything was smaller and it was all focused on food and carnival rides. The hall of flowers had less spaces, the bourbon street band was all of 5 people, there are no bands or artists that I’m familiar with or interested to see, and the petting zoo looked so small. We couldn’t actually pet the animals because they didn’t post the hours anywhere and they were closed at 8:30pm when we walked over. Maybe I’m getting older and just being nostalgic, but I remember the fair being much “more” in terms of entertainment and things to do. We also had a sleazy guy try to sell us on a timeshare that I absolutely loathed. And they have way too many people working the fair, I saw three different maintenance people come by to check a trash can near us within a 5 minute span while we were eating. Is it just me or do you guys see it too?
