I’m looking for advice. I am new to practice ownership (in my 2nd year). I have a 10 year loan, interest rate 5.5%, total amount $400k. According to the terms of the loan, I must have the loan for at least 3 years before paying it off early. A lot of older docs say to not pay the loan off early, keep it the full 10 years. Recently, I’ve seen a few people say pay it off early.

What are your thoughts? Pay it off early to get rid of the monthly payment and save on interest? Or continue to pay it on the normal schedule and move the excess to my personal?
