She would rather make me lose my job than admit a mistake

She would rather make me lose my job than admit a mistake

Delivery to a large complex and uh oh, she forgot to put an apt number. I hover near the entrance and can’t reach her by text or phone. Call support and they have the same issue, can’t reach her. Well, luckily this place has a club house at the front, so support tells me to just leave it there.

10 mins later and she gets back to me and hits me with this. Normally I never engage after a delivery, but I couldn’t resist this time because I know for a fact that I did everything by the book. She doesn’t respond to the text but calls me multiple times, probably trying to coax me to drive back and place it at her door. Her building is only a few mins walk from the club house, so it’s not like she won’t get her food if she really wants it.

Just such shitty, entitled behavior to try to cost someone their job in an economy like this, for something that was the customer’s fault. I guess the App might have glitched and removed the number from her order which had previously been there? Even if that’s true, we gave her ample opportunity to correct the mistake and answer one of our texts or calls asking for the unit number. Like look at the 5 mins between the two texts I spent waiting to resolve this issue, do you think I’m wasting my time out here for shits and giggles? I would much rather have the delivery go smoothly and put it at your door.

/endrant, don’t be a Doordash Karen.

How would the timeline have changed if Eladio had dropped the keys?

Lalo, visiting Eladio’s compound and being the cool guy that he is, nonchalantly tosses his Don the keys to a sick new car with a ‘frunk’ full of cash. Fortunately for Lalo, Eladio catches the keys and is impressed by his showmanship. What if Eladio’s reflexes had not been so quick, and he dropped the keys and looked like a complete asshole in front of his men and the prostitutes? Would he have skinned Salamanca alive and spared Gus the trouble?
