An Independent P and S Wave Detection App — MK Earthquake Monitor

I'm Muhsin Kösoğlu, a biologist and independent Android developer from Turkey. I built MK Earthquake Monitor — a completed, fully independent project — and I want to share it with this community.
What makes it different: Most earthquake apps only detect S-waves — the destructive ones — which means the alert comes after shaking has already begun. This app runs two independent filters in parallel and detects P-waves too. For distant earthquakes, that gap between P and S wave arrival gives you a few seconds of warning before the shaking starts.
Tested with real data: Validated using v2s format accelerometer records from USGS and Kandilli Observatory across multiple earthquakes.
Sample results from an Mw 7.2 scenario: ·
25 km → 1.4 sec warning before S-wave ·
50 km → 4.5 sec warning before S-wave ·
100 km → 10.4 sec warning before S-wave
